The Most Important Flow in Life – Your Breath
A simple, everyday and life-giving act – breathing. Well, it’ll take care of itself… right? Are you kidding me? Are you serious when you say that! The shocking finding: Humans are the worst breathers of all species… especially when it comes to the health problems (both mental and physical) that often arise when we don’t breathe „properly.“ James Nestor wrote a fascinating book about it, born out of painful self-experience. He notes: Just getting through doesn’t mean being healthy. And so there are conscious breathing techniques with which we can heal our body – by breathing – from various ailments. Unfortunately, today we are often detached from the environment and the environmental conditions that are really good for us. And so many circumstances and developments in the modern world mean that we are so “separated” from the most natural things in life – such as breathing – that we must first learn to integrate it again consciously and helpfully. In this interview, James Nestor gives an exciting insight into how we can find our way back to our natural, healing breath.
In this video you will find out…
- why breathing is not the same as breathing
- to what extent we have forgotten how to breathe “correctly”
- why respiratory diseases indicate incorrect breathing technique
- how we can find healthy, natural breathing again
- why awareness and consistency are crucial to breathing
- how our breathing can be improved “while we sleep”
